Censored...Wut the Hell...!!!
Hola...For the first time am postin an opinion instaed of some feelin's n emotions...Out of them all now...Well...Here I go...
Morning papers gave me the gud news tat the most awaited movie atleast for me was gonna be shown from this Friday...Happy n cheerful...I tried loggin on the site to check for tickets..Not listed again...has been the same since last evenin..
Checkin mornin news was always a routine in my house..N there was this usual streak of terrorist attacks n counter attacks...Political drama et all the buzzes...The news tat caught my attention was..'The Da Vinci Code' is banned for release in my state...!!!
I went crazy...I mean who are the members of the censor board to decide on wut we are supposed to see or not to...If at all its not in the cinema halls..Won't there be CD's n DVD's...branded or pirated out in the market..:-?..
N the best part is tat - 'The person who directs the movie is a Christian, the laeds et others cast in the movie are Christians...N above all the movie is a Block buster hit in all major Christian countries of the world..'..So when such a movie which is branded controversial by everyone on religious grounds..Is not minded in major countries where the religion is practised...I wonder Y do ppl in our country make such a fuss abt it...???None can answer...
I hav a statement..rather suggestions to make here...
Do we need a censor board to direct us wut is right n wut is wrong...We as humans have the sixth sense to think for ourselves n someone who doesn't even realize this becomes the president of the censor board n directs rathers controls us on wut we are supposed to see n wut not...!!!...this is the height of INSANITY...!!!
Can there be somethin done about this guys...!!!

your stae too??? sad... i am in a murderous mood.. out to stab anybody, but the DVDs kinda clam me down...
and nothing can be done about it.. i have lost all hope.. as in i have no hope..
with the present state of ethics in our country nothing can change for the good..
as for the censor board-- they need to get their priorities right.. its more of a political body than a board that deliberates art..
oops.. was on the phone with a friend in a diffrent state, hence the "in your state too".. considering its just our state which is mad and demented..

The thing is tat...u don't get movies tat might be worth watchin @ the cinemas these days...DVD's might be a substitute but the essence of fun n the sinkin in is lost when watched on a smaller scrren...
oh yes.. kuch paane ke liye kuch khona bhi padta hai... Gawd! thats how filmi I can get!

the book was never banned and the same people made it a best seller. i don get the point in banning the movie! guess book has more impact than movie. it is outright madness.

Exactly...i mean if there's some base to ban the movie..be it any front they try coverin up their decision wid...Then d next question is...Y wasn't the book banned...:-?...
two pairs of hands would suffice i guess!!! ;)
